Whangarei District Walking and Cycling Strategy 2018 – Draft

Hi All,

This post is to inform you of the current Whangarei District Walking and Cycling Strategy 2018 – Draft.  It is important to note that this is a draft document and you can make submissions. This document is worth a read through as it make affect where you cycle and the future of cycling for you weather its on the road or trails.

This also has a copy of the current CONCEPT Plan for the Bike Park at Pohe Island that Stu Bell has been working on through Bike Northland. Please note it is a Concept only and we expect that our cycling club will be consulted also on this. However i do urge you if needed to make any submissions as needed.

We understand this track will be managed and allow us to hold training and racing events via a booking type system of the track. All details to be worked through, but a great resource for our cycling club along with also our community.
